GENIUS: The Elizabeth Swann is an archaeologist's dream ship, fully equipped to map underwater features and ocean life, and store that information in the world's largest DNA collection. In the picture above, the giant humpback whale swims alongside the autonomous ship with the best navigation, and the smartest AI systems in the world. John Storm saved the giant humpback whale from being eaten by sharks.

The Elizabeth Swann may be the fastest (solar assisted) hydrogen powered ship in the world, but she has a bit more up her sleeve. She is also capable of storing more information than even the largest binary computers in the world.

The other attraction for industrial spies (military and medical), like DARPA and MI6 scientists, is the onboard DNA database - that has taken John Storm much of his young, and all of his adult life to collect. This is called the ARK. It is a secure server that is protected from would be thieves. A time capsule snapshot of almost all life on the planet.

The ARK is more than just a DNA data bank. It features a Codex, a means of converting four letter biological code from organic material, into binary code. But, the system works better with a Nano computer, that works on a four state system. This is ideal for coding (A) Adenine, (C) Cytosine, (G) Guanine and (T) Thymine nucleotides, the basis of all DNA code, providing the instruction manual for building every living thing on earth.

The system of analyzing and storing DNA data, is reversible, and may be mixed and matched, using a special digital biological interface. By this means, life may be recreated from the encoded samples. In addition, life may be enhanced. With suitable super computing power, DNA may be genetically modified. This is especially important when working with CRISPR viruses. That allows the DNA of already formed adult subjects to be modified, rather than cloning or replicating afresh.

The ARK is John Storm's hobby, about which he is passionate to the point of obsession. The system was designed by his genius uncle, Douglas Storm, with modifications, hardware upgrades and software applications constantly monitored by Dan Hawk.

The Swann has an inbuilt AI, named Hal, to defend the ship, since information storage is a high priority for most advanced nations. All protected by Merlin, the intelligent weapons system.

The cure for cancer is the Holy Grail of medical achievement, a Crusade that is within our grasp.

JOHN STORM is captain of the Elizabeth Swann, a solar and hydrogen powered craft, that he likes race occasionally. The Elizabeth Swann is not only swift, but superbly equipped for scientific and ocean conservation tasks, such as archaeological surveys.
