William Bates, goes by the nickname, Billy the Kid, because he looks so young for his age, and is deadly when it comes to developing technology. Not only that, but he is all but unbeatable when gaming.

He wears spectacles, is geek-ish looking, but has the razor sharp mind of a genius.

He normally dresses in jeans and T-shirt, casual attire that allows him more time to devote to his work, rather than wear a formal white lab coat. He is Caucasian American, thin and tall, with very dark, slightly ginger tinged hair.

He consumes too many energy drinks and devours candy bars like there is no tomorrow.

He is partnered with Jane, his common law wife of many years. They are partners on the NanoComm Corp., venture. Both dedicated to CyberCore Genetica, the project having taken over their lives, and absorbed their life savings.

They were desperate to cash in. Then one day it all fell into place. They organized an auction, and sold their baby for a cool $20 billion dollars, by way of secret sealed bids, with Professor Krafenstein picking up the tab, for his human cloning and replication research.
