EGYPTIAN COAST, ALEXANDRIA - CUSTOMS PATROL

Just a few seconds after clambering onboard Safiya heard another vessel motoring up to them on their leeward side. She spun around to find an Egyptian patrol boat alongside. Two customs officers were shining torches into the main cabin and around the rear deck area. Safiya quickly signaled to Panama to stay submerged, taking the coffin lower in the water. She signaled to Musa to follow her and take her lead. Musa then surfaced to find Safiya was laughing playfully. Musa made to chase her, taking her lead enthusiastically. The customs officers clambered onboard their sport boat.

One of the customs officers asked: "what are you doing here?"

Safiya replied, "looking for treasure of course," as she seductively unzipped her wet suit.

The officers were speechless, as Safiya removed her top, revealing her ample bust. 

"It's getting dark," she said. Removing her wet suit bottoms. She was only wearing panties, somewhat wet and revealing.

The wind increased, with it the waves lapping at the boat hull. 

"Did you find anything?" asked the other of the two officials. Stammering a little, as he tried to keep his eyes off Safiya's perfectly sculpted buttocks.

"Just a lot of sand, but we saw some lovely sea life." 

Safiya was toweling herself down, rubbing her hair to keep the officers engaged, watching her breasts undulating hypnotically. Musa had gone into the cabin to effect a change.

"Okay, you'd better be making for harbour miss. The weather is changing."

The officers stood agape at Safiya's perfect proportions. They continued to enjoy the view.

Safiya put on a pair of jeans and a soft pullover, not wanting the officers to be thinking of anything else, except her well rounded form.

"Was thinking the same thing officers." 

Musa began to raise the anchor and started the diesels. That was sufficient for the customs men to head back to Alexandria. They hopped across to their patrol boat and pulled the throttles full back in a macho display of power, as it was plain that this playful couple had obviously come up empty handed. The customs men did not know it, but they'd missed stopping a major artifact haul. Safiya and Musa had a lucky escape. Or was it the other way around. Panama would have taken the customs men apart if it have come to it.

As soon as the customs launch was a good distance away. Safiya dived back into the sea. Jeans, jumper and all. Her and Panama re-inflated the airbag. Musa hooked the catch, and tied it alongside. Then all three hauled in the coffin and canopic casket, landing the artifacts as softly as they could on the open deck.

"Quick Musa, head for Taposiris." Musa spun the boat, heading first north to clear the headland, then west.

Safiya toweled Cleopatra's wooden sarcophagus, and canopic box. She hoped that any seepage would not be too damaging. She covered their treasures in an old canvas, roping them down. Then she got out of her wet things for a second time. This time without an audience.

THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA, NORTH COAST OF EGYPT - THE SALVAGE

Anubis and Isis stood at the edge of the underworld, their gaze fixed on the shimmering surface of the Mediterranean sea. Below, in the depths of the Egyptian coastline, a team of divers headed by Safiya Sabuka was working to recover Cleopatra's sarcophagus from the sunken city of Alexandria.

"The mortals are risking much to retrieve her," Isis murmured, her voice filled with concern. "The sarcophagus has been undisturbed for millennia. If it is damaged, her spirit may be disturbed."

Anubis nodded. "The seawater has already taken its toll. The sarcophagus is weakened, and the seal is beginning to fail."

Cleopatra's spirit, watching from the underworld, felt a pang of fear. She had been preserved for so long, her body a testament to the ancient Egyptians' mastery of mummification. If the seal were broken, her body might be beyond repair.

The divers worked with feverish intensity, their lights illuminating the murky depths. As they approached the sarcophagus, a cloud of sediment stirred up, obscuring their vision. Anubis and Isis watched with bated breath, their hearts pounding in their chests.

Cleopatra's sarcophagus lay entombed beneath the waves, a fragile vessel holding the key to her rebirth.

"The water is damaging the sarcophagus," Isis warned, her voice filled with concern. "The salt is corroding the stone."

Anubis nodded, his gaze fixed on the divers. "We must act quickly. If the seal is broken, Cleopatra's spirit may be lost."

Cleopatra, her spirit restless within her mummified body, watched the scene unfold with a mixture of hope and fear.

The divers worked with precision, their movements guided by advanced sonar technology. Slowly but surely, they cleared away the debris surrounding the sarcophagus.

Finally, the divers managed to secure the sarcophagus and begin the ascent. As they emerged from the water, a cheer erupted from the recovery team. Anubis and Isis exchanged relieved glances in the spirit world.

"They have done well," Isis said. "Now we must hope that the sarcophagus can be transported safely to the surface."

Cleopatra's spirit watched with a mixture of hope and trepidation. She knew that the journey was far from over. The true test would come when her body was examined by the scientists upstream. Only then would they know if her dream of rebirth was truly possible.

When the sarcophagus was finally hoisted onto the deck of the salvage vessel, Cleopatra's spirit cheered. She had been freed from her watery prison, and her journey towards rebirth was finally underway.

Things were about to get even more interesting; with the opening of Cleopatra's wooden housing.
