In the ethereal realm, Cleopatra, eternally preserved in her sarcophagus, was stirred from her tranquil slumber. A disturbance, a seismic upheaval, rippled through the earth, disturbing the very foundations of the underworld.

Anubis, the guardian of the dead, sensed the disturbance. His keen senses detected a great tumult, a tempestuous force that threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of the afterlife. He turned his gaze to Cleopatra's sarcophagus, his heart heavy with concern.

"Isis," he called, his voice echoing through the silent halls of the underworld. "A great storm rages above. It threatens to desecrate the resting place of the pharaoh."

Isis, the goddess of life, death, and rebirth, appeared before him. Her divine eyes, filled with compassion, met Anubis's gaze. "I have felt the disturbance, Anubis. A great catastrophe is unfolding in the mortal realm. The city of Alexandria, the resting place of the pharaoh, is in peril."

"We must protect her," Anubis insisted. "Her spirit is strong, but her mortal remains are vulnerable to the forces of nature."

Isis nodded, her voice filled with reassurance. 

"Fear not, Anubis. We shall watch over her. The pharaoh is destined for greatness, both in this life and the next. No earthly force can truly harm her."

As the tempest raged above, Cleopatra, though unconscious, felt a stirring within her. A sense of unease, a premonition of impending doom. She yearned to awaken, to rise and protect her legacy. But she was bound to her sarcophagus, a prisoner of the afterlife.

As the tsunami crashed upon the shores of Alexandria, the ancient structures crumbled, swallowed by the raging waters. Cleopatra's mausoleum, a testament to her power and beauty, was no exception. Yet, within its depths, her sarcophagus remained intact, a silent witness to the relentless forces of nature.

In the afterlife, Cleopatra, though unaware of the physical turmoil, felt a strange sensation. A disturbance, a ripple in the cosmic order. She stirred, her spirit awakening.

"Anubis," she called out, her voice barely a whisper, "what is happening?"

The jackal-headed god appeared before her, his face etched with worry. "A great storm has engulfed your earthly remains. But fear not, my queen. We shall protect you."

Isis, ever watchful, offered words of comfort. "Your spirit is safe, Cleopatra. The physical world may change, but your essence endures."

Together, the divine beings watched as the earthquake shook the foundations of the world. The tsunami, a monstrous wave, crashed against the shores of Alexandria, engulfing the city in a watery grave. Cleopatra's mausoleum, a testament to her power and beauty, was swept away, carried by the relentless force of the waves.

Yet, even in the face of such destruction, hope remained. The divine protectors, Isis and Anubis, would ensure that Cleopatra's legacy would endure. Her spirit, eternal and unbound, would rise again, reborn in a new era, a testament to the enduring power of love, loss, and the indomitable human spirit.

As the tempest raged, Isis and Anubis watched over Cleopatra's earthly form, hoping that the ancient structures would withstand the onslaught of the waves. They knew that the future of her soul depended on the preservation of her body.

Isis and Anubis, the divine guardians, their power intertwined to shield her from harm. They knew that the pharaoh, though mortal, was destined for immortality. And they would ensure that her legacy would endure, forever etched in the sands of time.

For nearly four hundreds years after the death of the last Queen of Egypt, Alexandria and Thonis-Heracleion plied a sea trade, tumbling to new lows of corruption and immorality, until around 365 AD, when the Gods were angered sufficiently to summon a dreadful cocktail of high winds, shifting plates and giant waves to wash the offending city and it's satellites under the sea - sending all those within to a watery grave.

Alexandria was hit by shock waves that stuck down buildings, shaken to their foundations, followed by waves fifteen meters in height that dashed onto the rubble with great force, submerging the city, dragging it down into the depths of a stormy Mediterranean, followed by high winds that sealed the fate of those within. Thonis-Heracleion suffered the same fate. The Gods did not reward desecration, misbehaving or unnatural mismanagement on such a scale, threatening the sanctity of Cleopatra's last resting place.

So ended the governing, as had wrecked the rulings of many unjust kingdoms. With the storms subsiding, the waves returning to the former bright green-blue clarity, lapping the sandy shores - and the sun shining forth - as though nothing had taken place. Save for the rapid cleansing, washing the blighted city from sight and memory.

Cleopatra's tomb was taken down in the striking, to be buried for at least sixteen hundred years more, until fresh movement of the earth's crust from anthropogenic warming of the planet, signaled clues as to the whereabouts of her sarcophagus, the mummy inside tightly wrapped to contain preserving, oils, spices and herbs. Fortunately, well enough conserved, but newly in danger from increasingly potent acidic seas, encroaching peaceful inertness - and in need of further acidity protections.

It was time to effect a rescue. The Gods would once more smile on the last Pharaoh queen, rewarding her for her suffering and bravery when alive, as a revered Goddess in her own right. That she might join in the struggle to save the planet from over exploitation, Roman Empire style, and help restore a more natural order.
