REVIEWS

In this DVD, Derek travels to Egypt to give a Paranormal slant to ancient history and mystery. He visits the tourist trail, the Sphinx, the Pyramids, Saqqara, even Tutankhamen gets a mention.

I really enjoyed this DVD. Derek does his usual stuff of 'channelling' spirits, and a lot of the information he divulges is already well known, but it doesn't matter: it is all still interesting.

Away from 'Most Haunted', Derek isn't so frenetic and 'obliged' to find paranormal activity. It wouldn't be a Derek Acorah production without a 'possession' in very show and you still get that on this DVD, leading to some very funny moments when he scares the pants off his co-host who-happily-doesn't scream as much as Yvette Fielding and is therefore less irritating. She proves a good sidekick to Derek as they progress around Ancient Egypt.

There are interesting history and facts, lovely photography and the appearance of the eminent Zawi Hawass, a luminary of Egyptology, which gives this DVD a certain gravitas.
