A sleek underground lab. Screens flicker with DNA sequences. Glass walls shimmer blue. The Ark hums like a sleeping beast.

KLAUS (50s, intense, visionary) stands over a holographic map of genetic markers, eyes blazing.

KLAUS 
We need a comprehensive database… a genetic map of the human world.

RUDOLPH (60s, calculating, colder) leans in beside him.

RUDOLPH 
The adaptations that shaped us… the mutations that let us dominate every biome.

KLAUS 
And beyond that—plants, animals. All life. What survived, what thrived. That’s our blueprint.

RUDOLPH 
Space colonization won’t favor the fragile. We need resilient forms. Engineered. Perfected.

The two men exchange a grim nod. A beat of silence.

KLAUS 
But we’re dancing on a knife’s edge. Admiration or fear… both await us.

RUDOLPH 
And one wildcard stands in our way.

A digital image flickers: JOHN STORM. Explorer. Anthropologist. Rogue agent.

RUDOLPH (darkly) 
Recruit him—or eliminate him.

KLAUS (hesitating) 
He’s a threat. But he knows things. Ancient codes. Human drives. He could be… invaluable.

INT. THE ARK – SUBLEVEL VAULT – NIGHT
Servers hum. A labeled vault reads: THE ARK. Inside—data from centuries. Genetics of kings, warriors, prophets.

KLAUS 
The Ark accelerates everything. Decoding Cleopatra was just the beginning.

RUDOLPH 
CyberCore Genetica was the fuse. This… is ignition.

He gestures toward the vault with reverence.

KLAUS 
Twenty billion well spent.

RUDOLPH 
Interpol was too well-guarded.

KLAUS 
Scotland Yard—less cautious.

EXT. RIVER THAMES – ELIZABETH SWANN – NIGHT
A sleek vessel, anchored calmly. On deck, JOHN STORM reviews encrypted messages. He receives a call.

FRANCO (V.O.) 
John, we’d like to meet. We believe our research aligns.

JOHN STORM 
That depends. Where?

FRANCO (V.O.) 
River Café. Hammersmith.

JOHN STORM 
Thames Wharf. Italian. Poached langoustines with aïoli and pea salad… clam risotto with zucchini flowers…

He smiles faintly, nostalgic.

FRANCO (V.O.) 
So you do know it.

JOHN STORM 
I’ve had a meal to remember there—with Charley and Steve.

FRANCO (V.O.) 
Midday tomorrow?

JOHN STORM 
It’s a date.


HEAD HUNTERS – INT. RIVER CAFE, LONDON – DAY
FADE IN:

A sunlit dining room on the Thames. Chic and elegant. The hum of quiet conversation. Light glints off champagne flutes.

KLAUS (immaculate in a bespoke suit) sips his champagne, eyes scanning the river beyond.

KLAUS 
A most… civilized setting. Perfect for discussing matters of mutual interest.

FRANCO FRANCISCO (cool, composed, with predator’s grace) nods approvingly.

FRANCO Discreet, yet sophisticated. Ideal for… persuasion.

DOOR SWINGS OPEN

JOHN STORM (rugged, magnetic, carrying the weight of experience) steps inside. His eyes sweep the room—sharp, searching. He spots Klaus and Franco at a corner table.

JOHN 
Gentlemen. To what do I owe this… unexpected pleasure?

KLAUS rises, hand extended. Warm but restrained.

KLAUS 
Mr. Storm. A pleasure to see you again.

JOHN (firm handshake) 
Entirely mine. (gestures to chair) Please… tide and time wait for no man.

Storm studies Franco with passing curiosity.

JOHN 
Roma?

FRANCO 
My esteemed colleague. Franco Francisco.

JOHN 
Pleased to meet you, Mr. Francisco.

FRANCO 
Likewise, Mr. Storm.

They sit. Subtle tension. Klaus slightly unsettled. Franco relaxed, calculating.

FRANCO 
We’ve been digging… background research.

JOHN 
On me?

FRANCO 
Would it surprise you… the CIA has taken an interest in your project?

JOHN (pauses) 
My project?

KLAUS (slightly nervous) 
The Ark. We believe it could benefit our research. And ours… might benefit yours.

JOHN 
Indeed? What does the CIA want with my DNA collection?

KLAUS (dry chuckle) 
Apparently, more than archaeology. They think The Ark holds the key to… certain advancements.

JOHN 
Genetic crops? Weapons? Biological warfare?

KLAUS (hesitating) 
Perhaps. Or neither. DARPA is involved.

JOHN (leaning in) 
So it's a race. Us, the CIA, and whoever else.

FRANCO 
Precisely. Which is why we propose collaboration. A mutually beneficial arrangement.

KLAUS 
Russia and China are watching. Where the CIA goes… others follow.

Storm says nothing. His eyes drift to the Thames—deep waters stirred.

JOHN 
It’s just a hobby.

KLAUS 
Some hobby. Tanzania, remember? When you started collecting…

FRANCO 
We’d offer you compensation, of course. Funding. Tech access.

JOHN 
Money? I’ve enough. What I seek is knowledge—and guarantees. Assurances this won't be used… nefariously.

FRANCO (smiling) 
Nefarious is a strong word. Our benefactor, Heinrich Richthofen, is a philanthropist. We seek understanding.

KLAUS 
We simply want to fill gaps in our DNA studies.

JOHN 
That's it? Where’s your base of operations?

KLAUS 
Geneva.

JOHN 
Klaus, look around. Climate collapse. War. Famine. What if you unleash something… uncontrollable?

KLAUS (laughs) 
Velociraptors?

FRANCO and KLAUS exchange nervous glances. Storm’s moral compass is proving difficult to bypass.

KLAUS 
What assurances do you require?

JOHN (leaning back) 
First—transparency. Full access to all data. No secrets.

KLAUS 
Non-Disclosure Agreement. Quid pro quo.

JOHN 
Second—guarantees. No weaponization. No harmful crops. No ecological risk.

FRANCO 
On our word… for the good of mankind.

JOHN 
Talk is cheap. I want it in writing. A binding agreement. International law.

KLAUS (faltering) 
Difficult. But… not impossible.

FRANCO (changing tack) 
Nice job… rescuing that whale.

JOHN 
Moby Dick.

KLAUS I hear you abseil tall buildings?

THEY ALL LAUGH. 
Ice breaking… just enough to order lunch.

KIDNAP - Charley is taken prisoner but John rescues her, in the process becoming injected with a serum.

SARCOPHAGUS OPENING - The wooden inner casket is opened revealing Cleopatra's mummy, golden crown and death mask, perfectly preserved.

AWAKENING - In the afterlife, the DNA extracted from Cleopatra's mummy triggers a divine stirring with Anubis and Isis comforting the Nile Queen.

REPLICANT - The Society reproduce Cleopatra using Francisco's RepliVator™, uploading synapse sequence and implanted memories.

BRAIN CONDITIONING - Klaus and Franco upload digitally recreated memories in historical order to trigger correct learned synapse firing sequence

REBORN - The former Queen of Egypt speaks for the first time to her creators, proving that her brain is working, the implants succeeded.

FULL STEAM AHEAD - Storm speeds to Thonis, then uses the Swann's AI sensors and the Ark database

MEDICAL EXAMINATION - Jack Mason talks John and Cleopatra into agreeing to a check up at Port Royal, Jamaica, working for NSA and CIA

MISSILE LOCK - USA military try to hack into Hal, anticipating a strike, as the DOD launch Tomahawks, John hacks into NORAD, and redirects them.

PRESIDENT LINCOLN TRUMAN - Hails the Swann to find out why John is shooting missiles at Guantánamo Bay, Storm sets the record straight. FINALE
