EXT. AMBRACIAN GULF – DAY

The sun scorches the deck of the Antonias. Screams echo across the water, warships burning, sinking. Steel clashes. Cleopatra grips the railing, wide-eyed.

CLEOPATRA (whispers)

This is madness.

She stares out. MARK ANTONY'S galley is engulfed.

CLEOPATRA 

No... Antony...

The galley explodes in flame.

CLEOPATRA (turning, furious) 

Helmsman! South—now! Break from the line!

HELMSMAN

But—your majesty—

CLEOPATRA 

Do it! Before Octavian rips us apart!

The ship veers. Wind slams the sails. The cries fade. Cleopatra steadies herself. Her hand trembles.

CLEOPATRA (to herself) 

Antony... did you burn, or flee?

She scans the horizon—nothing. Just smoke.

INT. CLEOPATRA’S CABIN – NIGHT

She drops onto the bed. Her gown torn, hands bloodied.

CLEOPATRA

They think this ends me. That Egypt dies here.

She exhales. Her fear solidifies into resolve.

CLEOPATRA

Let Rome write its victory. I will write the sequel.




�� Scene: JOHN STORM’S ENTRANCE – MODERN DAY
INT. ELIZABETH SWANN – COMMAND LOUNGE – NIGHT

The sleek hum of hydrogen powered thrusters. LED panels flicker. Outside the portholes: moonlight on gentle waves.

A large monitor displays a BBC WORLD NEWS broadcast. Anchor JILL BIRD delivers in her poised, sharp cadence.

JILL BIRD (V.O.) 

...archaeologists at Taposiris Magna have unearthed several coins bearing the likeness and name of Cleopatra VII. Experts believe her tomb may lie somewhere within the ruins—an extraordinary breakthrough in Egyptology...

JOHN STORM, 40s, rugged, thoughtful, watches with narrowed eyes. He sips herbal tea—barely noticing it.

JILL BIRD (CONT’D) 

...if confirmed, this would be the first definitive link to the legendary queen’s final resting place...

JOHN (murmurs) 

They're digging in the wrong direction.

DAN HAWK, 20s, wiry, eccentric genius in cargo pants, spins in his chair.

DAN

You serious? A coin trail’s as close as anyone’s ever gotten.

JOHN

Coins travel. Mummies don’t. Taposiris Magna was ceremonial. Cleopatra knew politics—and escape routes.

HAL (AI VOICE) 

There is a 74.2% probability the tomb was never completed.

JOHN

Exactly. And if she feared Octavian’s reach—she wouldn’t choose a land burial at all.

HAL

Underwater topography suggests submerged chambers near ancient Alexandria. Fault zones consistent with seismic collapse around 30 BC.

JOHN

I’ve seen the scans. I think she’s beneath the harbor—lost to the tides.

DAN

That’s nuts. You want to dive Roman history?

JOHN

I want the truth. And if Cleopatra's DNA survived... someone will want it.

He glances back at the screen. Jill Bird now interviews the excavation team—one of the archaeologists holds up a gleaming silver coin.

JOHN (CONT’D) 

Keep watching, Dan. The coin is bait. The real treasure’s still buried. Or worse... being hunted.

SMASH CUT TO:

EXT. ELIZABETH SWANN – NIGHT

The ship powers forward, guided by silent jets. In the distance, the glittering Mediterranean beckons.




�� Scene: RETURN TO ALEXANDRIA – NIGHT
EXT. ALEXANDRIAN COASTLINE – NIGHT

The battered Antonias approaches shore under a veil of moonlight. Sails torn, its hull scorched. No fanfare. No cheering crowd.

CLEOPATRA, cloaked, stands at the bow—eyes on the city she once ruled.

CLEOPATRA (low) 

My Alexandria... even silence has turned against me.

EXT. DOCKS – MOMENTS LATER

Cleopatra disembarks. Her steps deliberate. Around her, merchants shutter stalls. Soldiers avert their eyes.

INT. ROYAL PALACE – NIGHT

Dust carpets marble floors. Statues stand draped in cobwebs. Once-proud courtiers hover like ghosts. Her footsteps echo through the emptiness.

CLEOPATRA (to attendant) 

Torch every curtain. Unseal every door. Make this tomb breathe again.

ATTENDANT 

Yes, Majesty.

INT. CLEOPATRA’S CHAMBER – LATER

Steam rises from a bath. Cleopatra sinks beneath it. Eyes closed, mind sharp.

CLEOPATRA (V.O.) 

Caesar bowed. Antony bled. Octavian hides behind Rome’s laurels.

She rises, water cascading off her. A servant dries her in silence.

CLEOPATRA (to mirror) 

He’s young. Arrogant. And desperate for a legacy. Let him come.

INT. PALACE HALL – NIGHT

Cleopatra walks through freshly polished corridors. Her gown—simple, elegant. Her gaze—calculating.

EXT. PALACE GATES – DAWN

Roman banners approach in the distance. Horses thudding. Soldiers armored.

CLEOPATRA (to herself) 

Every man dreams of taming a queen. Let the dream begin.

She steps forward, poised and radiant. A tableau of grace and defiance.




�� Scene: BITTER FAREWELL – CLEOPATRA & MARK ANTONY
INT. MAUSOLEUM CHAMBERS – NIGHT

Torchlight flickers against gold-stained walls. A cavernous room, cold and silent. Cleopatra lies back on a divan—made up like death itself. Pale powder veils her skin. Her breath shallow but purposeful. Her attendants remain mute.

Suddenly—BANGING at the gates.

MARK ANTONY (O.S.) 

Cleopatra! I beg you—open! Please!

CLEOPATRA (to herself) 

He came.

INT. MAUSOLEUM ENTRY – MOMENTS LATER

The door creaks. Mark Antony stumbles inside—his tunic stained crimson, one hand clutching his side. Eyes wild. Breathing labored.

MARK ANTONY

You... they said—dead...

CLEOPATRA

I had to summon you, my love.

MARK ANTONY 

With lies?

He collapses forward. Servants rush—she waves them off. Blood pools. Cleopatra kneels, catching his weight.

MARK ANTONY (CONT’D) 

You should not have left me...

CLEOPATRA 

I should have believed. I feared your pride. Not your heart.

He laughs, softly. Then coughs—more blood.

MARK ANTONY

And still... you were my victory.

CLEOPATRA

No. I was your ruin.

Their foreheads touch. She cradles him, tears streaking down her cheeks.

CLEOPATRA (CONT’D) 

Forgive me. Just once.

MARK ANTONY

Always. Always.

He whispers her name—his final breath trembling.

MARK ANTONY (V.O.) 

Cleopatra...

His body goes still. Her tears fall freely now. The silence deafening.

INT. PALACE – DAWN

She dresses in mourning. Elegant. Tactical. Eyes rimmed with grief, lips set in resolve.

CLEOPATRA (V.O.)

Love... betrayed. Power... spent. But Rome must believe this queen still holds cards.

INT. PRIVATE CHAMBER – LATER

She dictates to her scribe.

CLEOPATRA

To Octavian: request a meeting. Offer peace. Demand Antony’s honor.

She pauses. Then adds:

CLEOPATRA (CONT’D)

And the safety of my children.

EXT. PALACE BALCONY – SUNRISE

Cleopatra watches the city awaken. Her fingers trace Antony’s signet ring. Her voice distant.

CLEOPATRA Let grief be my armor. Let charm be my blade. Let history remember I fought to the last breath.



�� Scene: AN UNDERSTANDING – CLEOPATRA & OCTAVIAN
INT. ROYAL PALACE – THRONE ROOM – DAY

Golden shafts of light pierce the gloom. CLEOPATRA stands tall but faded—robes regal, face weary. OCTAVIAN, calculated, young, clad in armor lined with triumph, approaches without haste.

OCTAVIAN

You've aged.

CLEOPATRA 

So has Rome. But I am still Egypt.

OCTAVIAN

No. You're its relic. And mine now.

CLEOPATRA

Then take your prize. But beware—relics carry curses.

He circles her like a hunter assessing a statue.

OCTAVIAN 

You will walk through Rome. My captive queen.

CLEOPATRA

Better to die a goddess than live paraded like prey.

OCTAVIAN (mocking)

Then play your part well. Smile for the Senate. We’ll dress you in gold.

CLEOPATRA

Dress me in chains, if you must. Just grant one mercy...

(beat) Let me lie beside Antony.

Octavian narrows his eyes, gauging her intent. Then nods.

OCTAVIAN

Granted. But don’t mistake pity for weakness.



�� Scene: THE FIG BASKET – CLEOPATRA’S FINAL ACT
INT. MAUSOLEUM CHAMBERS – DUSK

The chamber is dimly lit. CLEOPATRA reclines on a couch draped in silks. Two handmaidens, CHARMIAN and IRAS, stand nearby. A woven FIG BASKET rests on a table.

CLEOPATRA

They said the Nile was kind to those who walked its path with grace. I wish to walk it one final time.

IRAS

Octavian grows suspicious. He’s doubled the guard.

CHARMIAN

He knows you too well.

CLEOPATRA

Then let him fear what even Rome cannot tame.

**She motions to the fig basket. Inside, curled in shadows: ASPS.

CLEOPATRA (CONT’D)

Venom... swift, sacred.

She dons a white linen gown. Simple. Eternal. Her hair adorned with gold beads and lotus flowers.

CLEOPATRA (softly)

Tell the priests: embalm with cedar and myrrh. I wish to enter eternity intact.

CHARMIAN

Your people will honor it. Your spirit will guide Egypt.

CLEOPATRA

Let history write what it pleases. I write the last line.

She lifts one asp. Breathes deeply. Places it against her breast.

CLEOPATRA (V.O.)

I am Isis. I am queen. I am myth.

The serpent strikes. She gasps—a mix of pain and peace. Her body relaxes as the second asp slithers to her wrist.

CLEOPATRA (V.O. CONT’D)

Let the gods weigh my heart. Let the Nile carry me home.

CHARMIAN and IRAS kneel beside her, tears streaking down their cheeks.

IRAS

She sails now... through eternity.

The air stills. Silence reigns. In that quiet, Cleopatra passes into legend.




�� Scene: TWILIGHT REALM – SPIRIT ASCENSION
A soft celestial glow replaces the chamber. Cleopatra, now translucent, stands barefoot upon a shimmering field. Lotus flowers bloom with each step.

ISIS appears—a radiant goddess, with wings of golden silk and eyes full of tears.

ISIS

Cleopatra, my child... it is not the end.

CLEOPATRA (kneeling) 

Protect me. Shield my body. Let my story endure.

ISIS

Your courage shall echo through millennia.

From the shadows, a second figure materializes. Tall. Regal. Jackal-headed.

ANUBIS

And I shall preserve your remains. No tomb shall betray you.

CLEOPATRA (softly) 

Let me return... when Earth is ready.

Anubis lowers his staff. A beam of light envelops her spirit. Her form begins to fade into stardust.


�� Scene: THE QUEEN’S LAST BREATH – REALITY RETURNS
INT. ROYAL CHAMBERS – NIGHT

CHARMIAN and IRAS, in tears, kneel beside Cleopatra’s lifeless body. Her lips still curved faintly. Her gown soaked with venom and history.

Outside, Roman sentries bang on the gates. Inside, stillness reigns.


�� Scene: TEMPLE OF AMUN-RA – THE VOW
INT. TEMPLE OF AMUN-RA – TIME UNKNOWN

A priest stands before a sealed sarcophagus in golden shadow. Glyphs shimmer across its surface: serpents, feathers, stars.

PRIEST (V.O.)

She is not gone. She sleeps.

**Suddenly, the shadow of ANUBIS crosses the threshold. He places his palm on the tomb.

ANUBIS When the mortal world discovers how to awaken what it once feared... her soul shall return.

TANZANIA  >>>>>>

THE BATTLE OF ACTIUM - Queen Cleopatra retreats leaving Mark Antony to lose against Octavian and seek a new deal with Rome.

TANZANIA - THE STORM BREAKS - Fanatical DNA collector, John Storm, finds Homo erectus skull, Olduvia Gorge, in Tanzanian dig site.

WRATH OF THE GODS - 365BC destruction of Thonis and Alexandria, Anubis and Isis watch on in horror as Cleopatra is submerged.

WWII ENIGMA - The birth of computers at Bletchley Park under Alan Turing, and his visits from Anubis and Isis, who see the potential in his ideas.

SYDNEY WILL READING - John's uncle Douglas vanished, declared dead, the adventurer inherits keys and a note from George Franks.

ANGEL OF DEATH - Anubis and Isis occupy Josef Mengele's and Adolf Hitler's subconscious as spirits steering their legacies.

PATENT APPLICATION - Franco Francisco files his Claims with the Italian Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in Roma, Italia.

CYBERCORE GENETICA - Nano computer technology is purchased at an auction by a semi religious sect, New World Order.

INCUBUS - Roberta Ferrara secures the expertise of Franco Francisco for knights of the New World Order: Neuwelt Rittertum.

SPLICE - Klaus and Eva von Kolreuter find a way to live forever using cloning technology; Genonimo Investments, Geneva.

TREMORS - Cleopatra's feels vibrations after a shift in the tectonic plates triggered a tremor off the coast of Alexandria.

PANAMANIAN RUNNING MAN - The secret is out, an enhanced human is spotted running at unbelievable speeds.

THE ARK - NeuWelt Rittertum headhunt John Storm seeking access to his genetic DNA map of life on earth, but they fail to reach agreement.

SARCOPHAGUS OPENING - The wooden inner casket is opened revealing Cleopatra's mummy, golden crown and death mask, perfectly preserved.

AWAKENING - In the afterlife, the DNA extracted from Cleopatra's mummy triggers a divine stirring with Anubis and Isis comforting the Nile Queen.

REPLICANT - The Society reproduce Cleopatra using Francisco's RepliVator™, uploading synapse sequence and implanted memories.

BRAIN CONDITIONING - Klaus and Franco upload digitally recreated memories in historical order to trigger correct learned synapse firing sequence

REBORN - The former Queen of Egypt speaks for the first time to her creators, proving that her brain is working, the implants succeeded.

FULL STEAM AHEAD - Storm speeds to Thonis, then uses the Swann's AI sensors and the Ark database to find tomb has been plundered.

PROPOSAL - Baron von Richhofen's gambit, a union of Royal ancient and Aryan blood, for strength and intellect, a powerful heir as her successor

RITUAL SACRIFICE - The Baron prepares a drugged Cleopatra for ceremonial impregnation.

MANAUS TO ALEXANDRIA - A hydrogen powered race across the Atlantic Ocean in nine days, John Storm guided by Anubis and Isis.
